The A310-203 was the initial model of the A310-200 series, powered by two General Electric CF6-80A3 engines. It lacks the small winglets of later -200 and -300 models and has a limited operating range of 6,667km (3,600nm). 48 airplanes of this model where built.

CT114 Tutor Snowbird 08/29/02
The Montreal firm of Canadair designed and constructed the Tutor. Its original designation as the CL41-A was changed to the CT-114 Tutor when purchased by the Canadian Armed Forces. Canadair's design team, headed by project engineer Fred Phillips, began working in 1955 to build an aircraft capable of replacing the Harvard and the deHavilland Chipmunk as a military trainer. Test pilot Ian MacTavish first flew the Tutor on January 13, 1961. By September of that year the plane had been ordered into full production for the Canadian Armed Forces. Between 1964 and March 1967, 190 Tutor jets had been delivered to the Canadian military. V2.

Wartime Beech 18's were designated C-45's & AT-11's USAAF & USN production (approx. 5,200 but scarce today) all these and subsequent models had two P&W R985 Wasp Jr. engines of 450 hp each. Airframe modifications were made such as single vertical stabilizer, revised nose, extended nose, raised cabin, floats, wing tips and engine modifications such as intake & exhaust changes, turboprop power or horizontally opposed engine power.
