Revelstoke Airport
Revelstoke airport is a very unique and innovative product. It is a simulation
of activities that go on at a small "Rockies" airport. Far more
than just scenery, it includes the activities, sights, and sounds of daily
life at the airport. During winter snow blows over the runway and aprons,
smoke billows from the lodge and a very special Xmas tree lights up during
the holiday season. During summer months the sounds of wildlife are abound
with the occasional Loon Call - quite pretty. This scenery features a
Turbo prop leaving the dock with real looking wake and blowback effects
while an RCMP patrol boat watches on! One of the hangars has been given
the retro look with a Piper cub under repair inside and is definately
worth a closer look! During winter months Revelstoke is a favourite heli-ski
destination and an animated Selkirk Heli-ski helicopter goes to and from
the mountains. Revelstoke Dam is also featured and is a short flight away
from the airport. All textures have been "seasonalized" and
are blended to the surrounding scenery. Check out the stunning screeenshots
