Tobago is a very unique and special Island. One of the Authors Owain Robinson has recently visited the Island and was absolutely amazed by it's diversity. Crown Point TTCP (closest to Trinidad) is mainly a drop 'em off and depart deal. There are parking spaces at a premium but we believe the first 6Hrs are offered free anyway. Opened in 1940 Crown Point TTCP is located roughly 10 Kms from Scarborough the only city on the Island. Tobago boasts two types of climate and goes from extreme dryness around it's small city Scarborough to dense wet jungle/rainforest near Speyside. There are no end of things to do and see while there and Speyside is where divers often go to catch a glimpse of Mantas and other types of Rays that inhabit the warm waters. Built in GMAX this all new Planesimulation scenery includes many features within the level of detail and extra's that have been built since 1987. Tobago will soon join it's counterpart Piarco Int'l on the main Island of Trinidad which also has been recently upgraded/rebuilt by the Government and private businesses. The simulators AI has been upgraded along with a new track for a bus that departs every 10 mins from the terminal. There is a helicopter as well that departs every hour or so that tours the Island and lands back at Crown Point. The weather station there along with the "Monster Radar" actually solely provides the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago with weather forecasts and advisories.
