Royal Air Force De Havilland DH 100 Vampire F Mk.3
The Vampire first flew in september 1943 from Hatfield, England, piloted by Geoffrey de Havilland Junior and using the under-powered Halford H.1 engine developed by Frank Halford. The first Vampire model, the F.1, entered service, in the Royal Air Force, in late 1945, too late to partecipate in the World War Two.
