| Vickers VC10 C1K |
![]() |
| From the early 1980s ex-airline VC10s were converted into tankers by BAe for 101 Squadron. After these conversions were completed, the RAF decided to give their original VC10 fleet tanker capability as well. These VC10s (10 Squadron) were converted to the C1K, with wing pod units only, Although the C1K is a tanker, its main role has remained as transport. The VC10 was due for retirement in 2000, but it now seems likely that some will continue until 2006. Original Model by David Maltby, Converted by David Maltby to FSDSv2 and has had the textures updated by Paul Pridmore to incorperate the reflective / chrome textures available in FS2002. |
