The B-52 Stratofortress has been the backbone of the Air Force's manned bomber strategic deterrent for the last 35 years. The B-52 entered service with the Strategic Air Command in 1955, and by 1958 it represented the most important component of America's strategic deterrent. At peak strength in 1963, SAC operated 650 B-52s, divided up among 42 squadrons at 38 different air bases. However, intercontinental ballistic missiles assumed a greater role in the strategic deterrent, but the B-52 remained important even after missiles had assumed the primary responsibility for the deterrent. The B-52 had been designed for the strategic nuclear bombardment role, but it was to assume an important conventional role in two wars -- the Southeast Asian War of 1965-1972 and Desert Storm of 1991. The Stratofortress has been periodically been upgraded over the years to make it a more capable weapons delivery platform, and had swapped roles from high-altitude nuclear bomber to low-level strike aircraft and cruise-missile carrier.

FS2004 airplane downloads Bolkow BO105. The Bo-105CBS-5 Army or Navy is a lightweight twin-engine multi-role military helicopter. It is built by the Eurocopter Group (since July 10th 2000 member of EADS), owned 70% by Aérospatiale France and 30% by Daimler Aerospace (DASA) of Germany. The military version of the Bo-105 include the antitank version with weapon-carrying outriggers and the scout version which has a mast-mounted sight above the main rotor. Missions include: direct air support, antitank, reconnaissance, search and rescue, and transport. In addition to reconnaissance, observation and surveillance missions. Many civil operators use the Bo-105 for medical assistance by accidents. Also for police operations is the Bo-105 perfect.

The prototype Tu-95 flew for the first time on November 12 1952. Initial production was of the Tu-95M 'Bear-N high altitude freefall nuclear bomber (now withdrawn from use). Some were converted as Tu95U crew trainers. Tu-95Ms were converted to Kh-20 (AS-3 'Kangaroo') cruise missile launching Tu-95K-20 'Bear-B' standard with a nose mounted radar. The Tu-95KD was similar but had an in-flight refuelling probe. The similar Tu-95KM 'Bear-C' (thought to be new build aircraft) had an in-flight refuelling probe, Elint antennas and some reconnaissance sensors. The Tu-95K-22 'Bear-G' had a revised radome profile and carried two Kh-22 (AS-4 'Kitchen') missiles, one under each wing root. The final bomber variant was the Tu-95MS 'Bear-H', developed specifically to carry the Kh-55 (AS-15A 'Kent') and based on the Tu-142's airframe, and was built from 1983.

This aircraft represents an FS2004 airplane downloads RAF Phantom F-4J 'XV423' of 74 Squadron based at RAF Wattisham,UK. 74 Squadron were re-formed on Phantoms on October 19th 1984. The Squadron was fully operational by June 30th and together with 56 Squadron - also at Wattisham- formed part of the UK Air Defence Force intercepting Russian aircraft over British airspace. 74 Squadron were the last RAF unit left operating the Phantom when the type was retired from RAF service and scrapped in the early 1990's.
