The Taiwanese Ching-Kuo Fighter is developed and manufactured by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation based in Taichung. The aircraft is also referred to as the Indigenous Defence Fighter (IDF). Because sales of the fighter were refused by a policy of the United States toward China, Taiwan will develop an original new fighter. Development has progressed to original related to cooperation with each aerospace corporate company in the United States because there was no restriction for technical assistance.

Mirage IIICJ “52” of No. 101 Sqn Israeli Air Force. This aircraft scored 10 kills. It is painted as it appeared in April 1967 when it was flown by the ace Yiftach Spector with two kills painted on the nose. Mirage IIICJ “59” of No. 101 Sqn Israeli Air Force. With its 13 kills "59" (also numbered 259 in periods) is the highest scoring IAF aircraft of all time. This is how it looked shortly after the Six Day war in 1967 with 10 kills painted on the nose.

Some aviation experts consider the FIAT G55 Centauro the best single seat fighter produced for the Italian air force in World War Two. The Fiat G55 Centauro was a redesigned version of the G50 Freccia. Differences included a DB 605 A-1 engine, an improved fineness ratio of the fuselage and a redesigned wing, built in 2 sections ,bolted together at the centerline for greater efficiency. Metal stressed skin was used and the metal framed airlerone was fabric covered.

Blue Thunder. To build it, the production company purchased a French Gazelle (Aerospatiale SA-341G, Serial# 1066 and 1075, both from 1973!) helicopter, which can fly at speeds of 200 MPH, and added several prop gimmicks to it. The Gazelle is so maneuverable that the stunt pilots were able to effectively reproduce the 360° loop which Scheider is seen performing on screen. Two helicopters were used in filming, one as a backup. Hughes Helicopters was the company hired to convert the Gazelle into Blue Thunder. Their main goal of course, was to make the helicopter appear as menacing as possible. After the movie both BT's were scrapped for parts, too bad really but the (poor condition) remains can be seen in the backyard tour of MGM studios in Florida.
