On 20 december 1948, SAAB get "green light" to start up the design of a single engine two seated jet plane for attack- purpose on land and on sea. The work with projeket 1150, or plane 32 , was led by Lars Brising ( also known as projekt- leader for J 29 "Tunnan" ). From the beginning the aircraft should be equipped with a Swedish designed engine from STAL in Finspång , called the "Dovern" (1948).

This is a collection of all known ROC (Taiwan) Air Force F-16A Block 20 liveries as of 2007. Most of the fleet is divided between the 455th and the 401st Tactical Fighter Wings based at Chiayi and Hualien Air Bases, respectively. The remaining aircraft are kept in the US for training and test purposes. Complete package.
