Overview
Khost airfield is a staging and redeployment area for
special and regular forces. Helicopters engaged in the
battle re-fuel here as it is a close hop from the
mountains into the valley. The
field itself is very busy at the moment with
incoming wounded and birds needing ammo and fuel. There's
a strobe indicating the mid-airfield position, however
you should keep in mind that there is plenty of traffic
coming and going.
