FS2004 utility
developer TweakFS has released a handy
tool which helps to analyze and repair
the FS9 entry in the Windows registry.
Many FS applications and their installers
depend on knowing the path to the FS9.exe
as reported in the Windows Registry. But
what if the registry entry has been corrupted
or deleted when reinstalling Windows?
Manually copying the FS9 folder to another
folder or drive will also invalidate the
registry entry. This may in some cases
prevent an FS add-on from working correctly
and require a reinstall of FS2004.Try it out >> here

VFR Autogen projectThe VFR Autogen
design team proudly announces the launch
of their new web site called 'The VFR
AutoGen Project', which is aimed at creating
highly accurate freeware autogen and static
scenery designed for Visual Flight/Getmapping's
VFR Photoscenery: England & Wales. In
addition the team is looking to expand
and designers/developers are encouraged

FScene2004
WorldPack
Raud Faber has
made available the second FScene2004 "WorldPack",
offering a bundle of textures for one
season for all continents of the world,
at a price greatly reduced from what the
individual texture packs would cost individually.

FScene2004 Asia
Raud Faber has
recently announced the release of the
spring season textures for Asia. It's
a package of over 320 replacement textures
for the FS2004 and FS2002 Flight Simulators.
FScene2004-Asia absolutely is the most
exciting FScene project. A variety of

V-22 OspreyThis V- TOL
tilt-rotor troop transporter has been
modeled for FS2004 in its US Marines guise,
the MV-22B. Alphasim advises "The rear
ramp and crew entry door open to reveal
a detailed interior, a detailed virtual
cockpit is included with authentic stick
and rotor tilt controls and co-pilot figure.
A viewpoint back into the fully detailed
rear cabin is available and a custom turboprop

Micro Flight 5
Micro Flight
advises us that the updated version of
this "light" flight simulator program
now has an excellent flight model and
great cockpits with VFR and IFR instruments.
New flight models were added with new
support for wind layers, night objects,
accurate DTM and scenery objects. All
of this makes Micro Flight a most valuable

FS
Global 2005 Editor
With this program
you can conveniently activate or deactivate
layers in your FS2004 scenery library
(scenery.cfg or newscenery.cfg) from outside
FS2004. The big advantage of this program
is that it is intelligent and will edit
correctly, even if after a change of scenery
library you haven't restarted your FS
