Pleiku AB Viet Nam built with GMAX quite simply brings together the most innovative and animated designs ever for Flight Simulator products. It is unmatched in it's category and holds unique features you can find in no other product! A1 Skyraiders rumble skyward toward their patrol moments before a re-armed F-4 Phantom takes off screaming to the aid of pinned down troops in a rice paddy near a VietCong village. Meanwhile two "Hueys" take to the air with one mission in mind: GET THE BOYS HOME! They land in a rice paddy marked with red flares and all hell breaks loose! It's too late. VC opens up and the sounds of AK-47s and RPGs fill the air! This blockbuster scenery has been "blended" into the surrounding Flight Simulator 2002 scenery and you won't be able to tell where it actually starts or ends! Pleiku was one of the most heavily used Airbases in Viet Nam and at the time more tin came and went than any Major International airport could boast of. It was also the first to be hit by the enemy consisting of mortar and rocket attacks. This all new GMAX scenery includes landclass, terrain, special effects sounds, vfr scenery, dynamic KC-135's A1s, Hueys, Choctaws and F-4 Phantoms; a custom AFCAD file with easy AFinstaller. The scenery comes with the one Major AB one LZ and one firebase located centally in southern Viet Nam. LZ1 debuts a brand new Planesimulation FS2002 ground launced rocket effect.
