Departure
The
date is March, 02 2001. Our aircraft will be a
Delta Airlines Boeing 767. We're going to taxi to
runway 26L for takeoff. First we'll make sure all
are aboard, check with cabin crew, run through
our checklists, get a pushback, start up the
engines and contact the tower for instructions
(Time is of the essence here!). Depart 10:55
Arrive 12:35. Our pilot has completed his
preflight checklist, fuel calculations (approx.
3600 gallons and were holding 4500 gallons) and
all Flight Data (FMS) has been input.

We are in a low pressure zone now
there is a large disturbance approaching from the
northwest.
the winds are westerly from 80-85 degrees so
we'll be taking off in a bit of a crosswind.
We'll have to climb over a disturbance caused by
a cold front moving southeasterly across the
lower states.
