Ready
We have permission to center off
on the runway. Final checks here flaps, trim,
speed bugs set.
Takeoff
We
are now set with departure frequencies and have
clearance to takeoff. We advance thrust levers to
70% N1 and allow engines to stabalize. Then N1
mode is selected to advance levers to takeoff
thrust. When positive rate of climb is achieved
(V2 + 15) we call gear up flaps 15 and select
Lnav mode. At flap retraction altitude we set
climb thrust (V-ref + 80) and when climb is
stabalized we select Vnav mode with CMD.
