In Flight
Once we've finished our after takeoff checklist and climb out leg we'll be starting a steady climb at +1500ft. We'll adjust the trim and tweak the environment controls and head 170 degrees for 100NM at 200MPH. Our first waypoint DVL. At transition altitude we set altimeters to 29.92 in heading.

Descent and initial approach
After we are cleared to descend we set clearance limit altitude on MCP. We'll begin a slow steady descent 50 miles out from POS at -1500ft. We'd like to intercept the localizer 109.90 for runway 24R. We'll be using STAR - POS from the East the frequency we're tracking for POS VOR is 116.40. We will modify the FMC and set airspeed reference bugs to Vref and flap speeds. At transition level we set altimeters to QNH.

Modifying the Approach

The weather should give us no problems this evening it's 22 Degrees, mostly cloudy with winds gusting from the North West.
